James Woodland, Chief Operating Officer at CMI/Compas, has been named a ’40 under 40’ top business leader by the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Woodland was honored for his ability to combine a natural talent for visionary leadership with transparency, compassion and appreciation for what will work today – and tomorrow – to enable his teams to take action on meaningful partnerships and innovation in the healthcare media marketplace. Brand managers at the nation’s largest pharmaceutical companies seek his counsel on moving business for their brands.
“Jim’s innate ability to organize a team, operate a business, and get people to make amazing things happen developed from raw natural talent to unprecedented ability to take our company to the top,” said Dr. Susan Dorfman, Chief Marketing & Innovation Officer.
This award recognizes the 40 most dynamic and accomplished young leaders in the Delaware Valley for outstanding success and contributions to their community, selected from hundreds of nominations.
Woodland will be honored at the 40 under 40 event on Wednesday, May 22 at the Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia and profiled in a special print supplement on Friday, May 3, 2013.
