Happy Friday! We are all pretty excited around the office because we recently learned we’re up for this year’s Vision award! The Vision Award recognizes the idea, concept, or initiative launched in the previous year that best exemplifies the healthcare communications agency of the future. The winner will be announced at the Med Ad News Manny Award gala on April 25. I have to admit, I teared up a bit (a lot) when they called to tell me we were up for this award. Squeee!

It’s coming soon – our own EVP Eugene Lee will be speaking at the ClickZ Live NY conference on April 1 (no joke) in a panel titled “Attract, Engage, Convert: Smart Paid Media Tactics.”

Amazon is considering adding ad-supported streaming video as an option alternative to signing up for Prime. Will be interesting to see if Netflix also considers alternative monetizing via advertising.

It’s March Madness like you’ve never seen it before – the wearables bracket pits sock against bra, baby monitor against adult sleep monitor, and more.

Yesterday the number of Instagram users surpassed the number of mobile Twitter users. Speaking of Twitter, here’s a cute infographic showing why people follow brands on Twitter, but it works well for any social media.

The White House announced they hit their goal for health care insurance signups just a few days ahead of the March 31 deadline.
