The Scoop – M2 Evolution Summit | Tinder Health Campaign | ACO Infographic June 6, 2014

If you lurve us on social media you may have noticed us using #CMIEvo – we’re preparing for the CMI/Compas M2 Evolution Summit, a day-long employee event with our media strategists on June 16 exploring the latest media innovations, keeping us on the bleeding edge of the media that moves our clients’ business. Now, limiting those in the room to our media strategists does NOT limit the learning that each of you can glean from this – the hashtag will allow each of you to follow the action on your social media venue of choice. We’ll be live streaming on Twitter, as well as posting highlights to Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Instagram (@cmicompas). (Yes! We now have an Instagram feed!)

Ad campaign of the day: A warning, some may consider this NSFW (not safe for work), but I think this clever campaign is worth a mention. Background: Tinder is an app that allows people to meet up for a single-serving snuggle. It’s a hook up app. Don’t make me say more. Anyway, as part of a men’s health campaign, some men perusing the app may have come across a beautiful nurse who is really thinking about their bodies – from a health perspective only – offering helpful (and humorous) health advice in response to their come-ons.

Accountable Care Organizations – what are ACOs and how do they work? A new infographic illustrates this beautifully, from who makes up an ACO to how it can benefit patients.

Design brilliance of the day: an 11-year-old girl designed a special drinking cup for her grandfather who has Parkinson’s.

As mentioned Wednesday, Pharmalot has relaunched on the Wall Street Journal website; Ed’s first issue came out yesterday, and there’s also a new Twitter feed.

Kaiser Permanente’s flagship app, which connects users to their personal medical information, has been downloaded 1 million times.
