Healthcare open enrollment seems to be better than last year, but still not great.

Media Planner Kyle Cooper shares this article which provides an interesting look at the pressures oncologists face and will continue to manage in the future as demand increases. One impactful point made in the article: “A recent study commissioned by the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) predicts that the demand for medical oncologists will increase dramatically between now and 2020 as a result of a 48% increase in cancer incidence and an 81% increase in people living with or surviving cancer. During this same time period, the supply of oncologists is predicted to increase by only 14%.”

In a more stable economy, expect an increase in  healthcare costs.
